Harry Abel is a violin teacher and performer based in Brighton.

He began teaching violin at university where he received an MA in Music & Sonic media.

Henry Tomlinson became an accomplished pianist and classical guitar player in his teens. Following a BA Hons degree at BIMM he joined the team at Under the Bridge teaching acoustic and electric guitar and jazz piano.

Angharad Lyddon is a Mezzo Soprano After studying at the Royal Academy of Music professional highlights include work as a soloist at ENO & Glyndebourne and recitals at Wigmore Hall & The Royal Albert Hall.

Melanie Davies offers folk fiddle and mandolin lessons.  She learned classical violin from age 8 and has Grade 8 violin. She now holds a Fiddle Teaching Diploma from Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann in Dublin.

Debbie Ward brings more than 20 years qualification. She performs and teaches both in Brighton and in London and also runs our Mum’s Choir - so let us know if you would like to get involved!

Aidan Bryson began learning clarinet at the age of 8 with the Brighton and Hove Music Service (BHMA). Aidan did his ABRSM Diploma in late 2021.

Homer Kelly

Ten+ years of experience on stage and in the studio. BA(Hons) degree in Professional Musicianship at BIMM Brighton.

Nicola Bates studied her  ​BA Honours​  and Advanced Continuing Education at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama​. She achieved​ Endorsements in String Teaching and Applied Community Music.

Adam Michalakis is a seasoned drummer with over 20 years of experience in playing, performing, and teaching drums. His versatility spans across a wide range of styles, including rock, hip-hop, pop, jazz, country, and more. 

Eimear Collins

I trained for over ten years under the instruction of world-class singing teachers at the Royal Academy of Music and coaches at the English National Opera, including Mary King and Rufus Norris.

Robin Squirrell

A cellist since the age of 6 and a folk lover at heart, my style fuses my classical training with my ever expanding interests in folk, world music, pop and experimental genres.

Lukasz Moskal is a professional drummer with 25 years of experience in the music industry. Recorded over 40 albums, many of which have achieved double platinum success and has earned numerous awards for his playing, composition and arrangement.

Tom Thiselton

Trombonist, I studied classical and jazz at the Royal Birmingham Junior Conservatoire.

With over eight years of experience leading and arranging for ensembles, I bring an engaging and tailored approach to lessons for both children and adults—whether you're a beginner or refining your technique.

Simon Barron

A seasoned professional guitarist and music producer with a passion for the life changing benefits of playing music. Simon specialises in contemporary styles of acoustic and electric guitar, with a focus on the student’s personal connection with music, and what inspires them the most.

James Moss studied musical performance at college, then obtained a degree in ethnomusicology, all while working as a touring musician. He has been teaching guitar for ten years full time and also offers saxophone, songwriting and music theory lessons too.
